Ms. Huss is a vocal instructor, vocal director, beginner-piano teacher, and music theory tutor. Her teaching philosophy stems from knowing her students' individual and unique needs and goals. Most of all, she aims to promote healthy music making that will continue to inspire students. She takes pride in having a wide range of students with varying backgrounds and interests. She wants her students to feel prepared for where their love of music takes them.
She obtained a graduate performance diploma from the Peabody Institute, and she has two masters degrees in vocal performance and music theory pedagogy from the Peabody Institute. She graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. She has been a tutor since 2014, and she has been instructing private lessons since 2015. Currently, she is a voice instructor at St. Croix Preparatory Academy, as well as a piano instructor at Saint John School of Little Canada. She joined Ashland Productions and Tartan High School as a music director in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Her current projects include Mamma Mia at Ashland and Into the Woods Jr. with Tartan. She has been teaching online voice and piano lessons since January 2019, and she privately teaches virtually.
